Not all skin-care products are created equal. Some products are made specifically for adult skin and may have stronger, more powerful ingredients to address our “thicker” skin. When it comes to the little ones, though, things need to be kinder, gentler, and safer. With Baby Magic, you can get a line of products that are designed just for babies and kids.
About Baby Magic
The Review by WiC Chick Nikki of Nickel and Diming with Nikki
(with some comments/edits by The WiC Project)
Baby Magic recently announced four new products, which included Healing Balm for Eczema, No-Rinse Wash, Kid’s Magic Bubble Bath, and Medicated Cream-to-Powder Patty Cake. Nikki and her 11-month old son helped us out by testing each of these products out.
Baby Magic Original Scent Gentle Eczema Balm
The Baby Magic Gentle Eczema Balm is enriched with with vitamins, aloe, oatmeal and Shea Butter to help with minor skin irritation and itching due to eczema. This balm can help provide relief, especially during the winter season.
Nikki says:
I absolutely love how easy this was to use and it smelled really nice, like baby powder. My son has some dry spots on his back so we applied it there. It seemed to help and he didn’t mind when I applied it either. It is very easy to apply, almost like applying deodorant. It is hypoallergenic, which is great since my son has sensitive skin and it also has nourishing shea butter to help the dry areas.
Medicated Cream-to-Powder Dustless Baby Powder
The new Medicated Cream-to-Powder is just the trick to help with diaper rash. It has a cream to powder formula for no-mess application. It is hypoallergenic, has no petrolatum and no mineral oil, making it great for babies with sensitive skin.
Nikki says:
I used this on my 11-month old son’s red tush and it cleared it right up! It is so easy to use and I think it is great that the little man doesn’t have to breathe in powder dust. It comes with cotton rounds for the application of the cream. It does have a hint of a medication smell (it is medicated, after all) so I would use this specifically if I noticed a diaper rash, and not to for everyday freshness, as one could with regular baby powder. It definitely worked at clearing up the redness and worked like baby powder, just without the dust!
For the same dust-free experience to use everyday, you can pick up the Patty Cake Dustless Baby Powder.
Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash
If you’re running errands and on the go, you can’t always give the baby a bath when he needs it. Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash to the rescue! The wash is a self-fomaing wash that allows you to clean baby’s hair or skin without needing water. Of course, it’s hypoallergenic, tear-free, and is formulated for baby’s sensitive skin.
Nikki says:
This is the neatest, and most convenient, baby product I have seen in a long time! It’s baby wash that you don’t have to wash off with water. It has the Baby Magic original scent, which is very nice and powder-like. It is a foaming rinse which isn’t greasy or messy. Just squeeze it out, rub it on baby’s skin, pat dry, and your good to go. It’s quick, easy and very convenient for days a bath may not be possible, or days you have to travel with baby.
Kid’s Magic Bubble Bath
Who doesn’t love bubbles? Here’s a product to make bath-time for the kiddies a little more fun! This tear-free, hypoallergenic formula will help get the kids clean with huge, long-lasting bubbles. It’s available in two scents – Bubblegum Pop and Calming Lavendar.
Nikki says:

Here is my little man in the tubby with the Kid’s Magic Bubble Bath by Baby Magic. He was splashing around quite a bit but you can see that there are still a great amount of bubbles in the tub too. The smell of lavender was amazing! We really liked it and it wasn’t over-powering at all and it left baby smelling nice and fresh! The liquid is the perfect thickness; some bubble baths are watered down but not Kid’s Magic Bubble Bath. It was thick and easy to pour into the tub. A little goes a long way but I tend to add more than necessary anyway…we love bubbles in our house!
The lavender scent was very relaxing for baby and mommy. Not only does baby get clean, but mommy has a relaxing time in the bathroom, thanks to the wonderful aroma. It’s a wonderful way to prepare baby for bed!
“We loved the new selection of Baby Magic products; they are top quality products for baby which makes both baby and mommy very happy!”
If you would like to purchase these, or any of the Baby Magic products, you can find thim in your local Wal-mart, Toys R us, Babies R us, and other drug and grocery stores. Some of the Baby Magic products are also available online on Amazon. Prices range from $5.99 for the Medicated Patty Cake to $8.99 for the No-Rinse Wash.
