I love cookies. Chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter. Call me the non-furry (and non-blue) version of the Cookie Monster. While I have tried many different kinds of cookies, one cookie I hadn’t tried yet was a molasses cookie. With the new Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix, I was able to add molasses cookies to my list of kinds of cookies I’ve enjoyed.
About Betty Crocker Molasses Cookies
The Review
I love Betty Crocker cookies mixes simply because they’re so easy to make. The Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix was no different. Simply add butter (oh yes…a whole stick of butter!), one egg, and one tablespoon of water to a bowl and mix in the cookie mix. Spoon the mix onto a non-stick cookie sheet and bake. In about 10 minutes (give or take depending on your oven – it was 10 for mine), you’ll have a batch of perfectly baked molasses cookies. As the cookies bake, your house will fill with a warm, almost gingerbread-like fragrance that is so perfect during fall.
While the cookies make your house smell good, they taste even better. They Betty Crocker Molasses Cookies came out moist and soft with just the perfect amount of molasses flavor. You could taste the cinnamon and spices that make this more than just an ordinary cookie. I left these cookies out on the counter to cool and pretty much every time someone walked by, a cookie was grabbed from the cooling rack. The kitchen was filled with “Mmms” and “This is REALLY good!” A devout snickerdoodle lover declared that he might have just tasted his new favorite cookie!

Betty Crocker certainly knocked it out of the park again with this one. The cookie mix makes baking molasses cookies so easy and results in wonderful, flavorful cookies. To try out the new Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix for yourself, you can find them in your local grocery stores during this fall season. make sure you download this coupon for $0.75 off one Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie mix pouch before you go!
