It’s always exciting to watch a company grow. I remember way back in 2009 when we first learned about CoverYourHair.com (we were still What’s Cooking at DD back then – can you believe it?) Back then, we loved their elastic headbands and we continued to love, and still use, the one we tested (and a few others we’ve picked up over the past few years.) Since then, CoverYourHair.com has grown a lot as well! In addition to women’s headbands and hair accessories, they also have new clips, head accessories, head scarfs, hats, and so much more.
The Review
I know a lot of us may think specifically about hair accessories and ways that we can style our hair using products from CoverYourHair.com, but I just discovered that they have a great array of head coverings, including berets, chaponnes, and hats.
I saw their new Warm Winter Hat and Scarf Set and knew I had to have it. In the winter, while I bundle up in my jacket and my fuzzy socks and boots, my head always seems to get a little chilly. I’ve tried ear muffs but sometimes those feel a little awkward. The warm hat available in this set has a deep fit so you can pull it down around your ears. There is a big bow with jewel embellishments on it that take this from an ordinary winter hat to a stylish one. The hat is 100% acrylic and is also 100% cozy. It is incredibly thick (laying flat, it is over 1″ thick!)
The set also comes with a matching scarf. The scarf is a length 5 feet long and just over 5 inches wide. It comfortably wrapped around my neck 3 times for optimal warmth. You can also wrap it twice around and then tie a little not to secure the scarf around your neck, or wrap it once and knot it so it drapes long over your coat.
The Warm Winter Hat and Scarf Set is available in currently available in four colors – brown, black, red and white and retails for $19.99. I know that when the snow comes (which I hope it does soon.) I’ll be nice and cozy in my new set.
