One thing that I’ve noticed as I’ve started cooking more is that…I’m kind of a messy cook. I try not to be – I mean, I do my best to throw things away after I’m done and such, but it’s more so that the food I’m cooking can get the stove pretty dirty, pretty quickly. Whether it’s splatted burger grease to french fry oil, within what seems like moments, what once was a clean stove becomes dirty almost in an instant. With Greased Lightning, you can clean away the cooking mess and the other messes around your home.

About Greased Lightning

Greased LightningGreased Lightning Super Strength can help you survive those everyday messes, like drink spills on your carpet, day-old food residue on your kitchen counter and even grass stains from the family football game!

Great for surfaces in every part of your house and even for stain removal, Greased Lightning is a multi-purpose cleaner and degreaser that removes grease and grime, laundry and carpet stains, soap scum, and much more.

The Review

After a day of cooking, I decided to put Greased Lightning to the test. The stovetop was appropriately greasy – the perfect test for this multi-purpose cleaner and degreaser. I sprayed on the Greased Lightning and then wiped it with a paper towel. The surface grease wiped up immediately and the remaining larger pieces of gunk just took a couple more scrubs. After cleaning, I wiped everything down with a wet paper towel (to rinse it – per their directions) and stepped back to admire my freshly clean stove. Here are the before and after shots of the stove formerly known as dirty:

BEFORE (Look at all those icky grease splatters – I don’t even know what that white thing is.)

AFTER (So fresh and so clean!)

Next, I decided to test out the “multi-purpose” use in the bathroom. There, Greased Lightning quickly provided streak-free mirrors and spotless vanity tops. It easily wiped through water spots on faucets and around the sink. It even handled dried toothpaste and shaving cream – just spray, wipe, and rinse!

Keep in mind that this is a super strength cleaner, so as the bottle directs, make sure you use it in a well-ventilated areas and follow all the usage instructions.

Overall, I think Greased Lightning really does the trick when it comes to cleaning around house – especially the kitchen and bathrooms. I haven’t yet tried it on carpet stains or laundry, but with the super strength cleaning power, I expect positive results. Knowing that I have such a powerful cleaner on hand, if needed, is great.

Greased Lightning is available in nationwide in hardware stores, Walmart and online. Make sure you head to the Greased Lightning FB page to grab a coupon for $1.00 off any 32oz or larger bottle of Greased Lighting.
