The holiday season is fast approaching and to help our readers get a jump start on their holiday gifts, The WiC Project and Mommy PR are hosting the first ever Holiday Turkey Hunt event with over $2500 in prizes up for grabs!
This is a great way to get ready for the holiday season by growing followers and readers for your blog and possibly win some great prizes.
How it works:
From November 25th through December 9th, 30 20 bloggers will be hosting amazing giveaways on their blogs. Each giveaway will be worth at least $75, which means there will be over $2250 in prizes that can be won.
But wait, there’s more! Thanks to our event sponsor - Save and Make Moola – there is an Xbox 360/Kinect Bundle grand prize up for grabs! This brings the total value of our prizes to over $2500!
So where does the “hunt” come in? Each participating blog will receive a “secret letter” that they must include in their event giveaway. These letters will combine to form a phrase that will be the required entry for the grand prize. This helps to maximize blog visits during the event. People can enter to win the Xbox 360/Kinect Bundle grand prize by visiting the grand prize giveaway that will be hosted on The WiC Project and Mommy PR.
After entering one giveaway, participants can hop to the next giveaway for another chance to win a great prize and to discover the next secret letter!
Additional Exposure for You and Your Sponsors
As part of the event - The WiC Project and Mommy PR will have an event page that lists and links the blog buttons of all event participants. We will also maintain a list of prizes that will list your blog and prize, and can also list the sponsors of your prize (if desired.)
Throughout the event, we’ll be tweeting and promoting the event and the participating blogs on Twitter and Facebook – providing exposure to almost 40,000 Twitter and 9700 Facebook followers and friends!
Want to Join the Hunt?
To keep our hop list manageable and to increase exposure for each blog, we are limiting the number of participating blogs to 20 30. (Due to tremendous interest, we’ve decided to increase the number of participating blogs to 30.) We’re also requiring that giveaways have a minimum of $75. There is no fee or charge to participate in the event, although we do request that you honor your commitment when you sign-up.
