Many of us have family members or friends who are in, or have served in the military. With everything that’s been going on in this world, sometimes it seems like “Thank You” doesn’t cover everything that the men and women who serve have done for us and our country. To help celebrate these brave individuals, Dollar General and Proctor & Gamble are honoring our service men and women this month through their Every Day Heroes Program.
Honor Your Every Day Heroes
The men and women in the military are pledging their lives to serve their country. It is their honor, duty, and privilege to serve and protect. Their bravery, sacrifice and commitment makes them heroes every day.
Dollar General truly values these heroes and their experiences and offers many career opportunities for returning veterans. Dollar General is the winner of the 2011 Military Officers Association of America Distinguished Service Award and was recognized in GI Jobs magazine’s list of Most Military Friendly Employers.
If you know of someone in the military who is a hero in your life or community, now is your chance to honor them. Upload a video to the Dollar General Every Day Heroes website at www.dollargeneral.com/everydayheroes to introduce the world to your every day military hero.
