Shopping for a new dress is hard sometimes. Apparently some people decided that all women must fit into skin tight dresses that ooze too much of something that I’d rather not ooze. Fortunately, with companies like Mikarose, those of use who want to be modest and still look good can find an array of suitable and fashionable clothing items.

The Review
When I received the Jackie dress from Mikarose, I immediately had to try it on. I planned to wear it to a special dinner event and wanted a sneak peek into how it would look. The Jackie dress may appear to be a simple dress at first, yet it has all of these wonderful touches that make it an AWESOME dress. It has some pleats at the neck and at the waist for detailing and fullness, and a simple belt for a nice accent. Best of all, this dress has pockets. I’m giddy just thinking about the pockets. Another added bonus is that the dress is machine washable – just what a practical woman like me needs.
The Jackie dress is exactly what I look for in a dress. Something that fits, but isn’t snug or baggy. The length is perfect, hitting just below the knee. The sleeves were great for cooler weather, but since the dress is 65% cotton, could easily be worn in the spring as well. I felt like I looked beautiful without compromising modesty. (And I totally rocked it at the dinner party too!)
The Jackie dress is available in four different colors, Black, Moroccean Blue, Persimmon Orange, and Plum, the color I selected. It comes in sizes XS to 2XL. I found the sizing to be right on point.
In short, I love the clothing offered at Mikarose. They really “get” that women some women want to look elegantly beautiful. From dresses to tops and skirts, there’s a great collection of items that allow women to simply be classy women. Not to mention, all of the items are very affordable. The dresses range from ~$30-$60 dollars (the Jackie is $59.99) and have a variety of modest styles to choose from. The clearance section is amazing, with some items as low as $2.50!
If you’re looking for clothing that will make you feel and look beautiful, without having to squeeze, hold your breath, or look like Snookie, then I definitely recommend Mikarose.
