I know things have been a little quite on the blog for the past few days. Sometimes you just need to take a step back to take care of non-bloggy type things. My kitchen is actually starting to look decent and the piles of laundry that have been glaring at me are starting to dissipate. We’ll kick back into gear in the next few days.

It’s been pretty good. My sons were both home from college until the beginning of the week and the neighborhood kids were all here so it was like old times.

The first 2 weeks of 2013 I had the flu and am still fighting a lingering cough so, not so good.

Well, 2013 has not been good to me so far. My Dad fell and broke his hip and is now in a nursing home and my husband’s cancer is out of remission and he is back on radiationand chemo.
