      the last book i read was titled why men love bitches. my husband was having an affair and walked out on oct 1, since then i have read books trying to get him to come home, books on marriage counseling, and how to understand men. now i have moved on to self help books trying to improve myself, and being my best me. he isnt worth spending another minute on him. life is too short to spend with someone who doesnt want to be there with you.

      The last book I finished was In the Face of Evil-Based on the Life of Dina Frydman Balbien, by Tema N. Merback. It is the memoir of a woman who survived the Nazi deathcamps in Poland. It’s a tough subject but well written and an important record of the events. I recommend reading it. As uncomfortable as it is to remember these events , I think it is essential that we learn the lessons of the past so we are not forced to relive them.

      The African Queen has a different twist and political ending. There are sections that describe the beauty along the river that are more lovely in the mind.

      I enjoyed until the end, it was not a good feeling ending in the book, it was an angry slap in the face that showed the cruel nature of man.
