For as long as I can remember, I have always washed my clothes with Tide. It started out with the powder in the box and has gradually migrated to the liquid in a jug with a touch of Downy. Tide has always gotten my clothes clean and Downy helps to keep them soft. It’s no surprise that Tide has been around for 65 years. In honor of this special occasion, Tide has issued special-edition packages with the 1947 labels – very clever since “retro” is now “in.”
To celebrate with Tide and to check out the vintage packaging, make sure you check out the retro-packaged products, which are available at Target nationwide.
In a bygone era when women wore dresses and high heels to carry their families’ laundry in a wicker basket to their very first automatic washing machine, they turned to Tide for “the cleanest clothes possible.” More than a half-century later, families still turn to Tide, now offered in more than two dozen liquid and powder formulas. To celebrate its 65th Anniversary, Tide is issuing special-edition packages with the 1947 label. Procter & Gamble (P&G) invites consumers to enjoy a blast from the past with retro-packaged Tide, Bounce and Downy available at Target in May, while supplies last.
