I have a super power. I have an amazing sense of smell. I can smell a banana from 100 yards and know within .0001 milliseconds whether something smells good or not. With a super power like this, I know pretty quickly if something smells good. With my first whiff of hand-made soap from Snohomish Soap Company, I knew I was smelling something great.
About Snohomish Soap Company

The Review
My mailbox has never smelled so good as when my bar of Lavendar Lemongrass soap from Snohomish Soap Company arrived in the mail. It had a wonderful exotic, yet floral scent that I’m sure had every person sniffing the package all the way from Washington (state) to Washington (D.C., that is.) Once it was out of the package, I was able to truly appreciate the wonderful scent as well as admire the beautiful blend of colors of the bar. There was no doubt to me that this soap looked good and smelled good, but how well would it wash?

My big question when it came to hand-made soaps was quality. Would it wash off clean? Would there be a residue? Would the scent be too strong? Or not strong enough? Would it foam or would it be slimy? My inquiring mind wanted to know all of these things, so with bar in hand, it was time to put this bar of soap from Snohomish Soap Company to the test.
The amount of scent that you smell when using this soap is just right. The lavendar and lemongrass blend so beautifully that it turns your bath or shower into an aromatherapy session. The smell swirls around you as the soap foams and washes away not only the dirt, but any stress or worries you had. The soap leaves your skin feeling clean, moisturized, and healthy. While the soap and bubbles have a stronger scent, the scent on your skin is much milder, which is actually my preference. It leaves a faint “clean” smell but not so much that it would clash with your favorite perfume fragrance.
Each bar is hand made with special ingredients. In addition to the scents, the Lavendar Lemongras bar was made with saponified palm, coconut, olive, and castor oils. In addition to Lavendar Lemongras, they also have Lavender Peppermint, Citrus Swirl, Nag Champa, and a few other great scents.
The soaps from Snohomish Soap Company are a great gift or stocking stuff idea that would definitely be appreciated. Prices start at $5.00 per 5 oz. bar.
