Our tester loved how convenient it was and that it helped him save time when getting ready to head out because he could just shave in the shower. It is a great product that actually works. When I first heard that they had put LED lights around the mirror, I thought “of course!” It’s a brilliant idea since most showers don’t have a lot of light. With the LEDs, you can actually illuminate your face while you pluck, shave, or groom.
Installation for our tester was easy. Since he already had an original ToiletTree Fogless Shower Mirror installed, he could simply remove the mirror portion of the original mirror and slide in the new mirror face with the LEDs. Very easy. If you don’t have a ToiletTree Fogless Shower Mirror yet, installation is still very simple. You apply a silicon adhesive that you use to attache the support piece to the wall of the shower. Make sure you let it dry for 24 hours for the adhesive to cure. Then you slide the mirror portion into the frame.
The ToiletTree Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror offers many of the same great features as the original – a convenient shelf to rest your razor, sponge, or tweezers; a new and improved, built-in squeegee so you can clean the mirror, and the water chamber that you fill to keep the mirror fogless. By filling the water chamber with hot water, it brings the temperature of the mirror up to the temperature in the shower, which prevents fogging. It’s a chemical and coating-free fogless feature so your mirror will stay fogless and won’t wear over time. The Deluxe mirror is also 20% larger than the original mirror.
To use the LEDs, you need to install 3 AAA batteries (which are included) on the back of the mirror. There is a small button on the right side of the mirror that you can press to turn on the LEDs. One press and you get a bright light, another for low, and a third press will turn off the light. I’ve seen the lights and they are bright. The illuminate the face so you can easily see any scruff or areas you might have missed while shaving or to help reveal any stray hairs you need to pluck.
