Correct me if I’m wrong, but women in general do not like to look old. Sure, we nod and smile appreciatively when people say “A woman is like a fine wine, she only gets better with age,” but if we’re being totally honest, we would all claim to be 29 for the next 50 years. If only the wrinkles and gray hairs didn’t give us away! While we can always dye our hair to hide the grays, aged skin is a little bit harder to disguise. Not only because of the wrinkles, but also the appearance of the skin itself sometimes can look a little more weathered. In general, if we eat right, exercise and take care of ourselves properly, that will be the BEST way to maintain our youthful good looks. However, if you haven’t been taking care of yourself as well as you should have, there are products that offer help – and I am not one to deny help if it is offered.
One product that claims to help re-achieve and maintain better looking skin is the Trilexon Anti-Aging Skincare System – a new line of skincare products from Greyson International. Using new ingredients, such as Dermaxyl, Avina Sativa Extracts, as well as Vitamins A, C & E, Trilexon releases ingredients onto your skin over time. It “forms a fine water insouble velvety film so ingredients don’t get washed off by perspiration,” which helps keep the ingredients on your skin and working to improve its appearance. The Trilexon Anti-Aging Skincare System includes the Fast-Acting Line Erasure, Revitalizing Eye Creme, and Restorative Night Creme.
I’ve been using the three products for the past few weeks, using the Restorative Night Creme and Revitalizing Eye Creme before I go to bed, and the Fast-Acting Line Erasure and the Revitalizing Eye Creme in the morning. I know this has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the product, but the packaging is really cool. I think the cases are aluminum, with the creme in a small clear tube between the cap and base.
One of the great things about all these products is that a little goes a long way. I need just a little more than a pea-size amount of creme for the face and even less – about the size of a peppercorn – for my eyes. The texture of the creme is very smooth, slightly thicker than lotion texture but not as oily or runny. I’ve seen other people comment that there was no scent, but I disagree. I think there is a very, VERY slight scent. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it, sit it isn’t exactly floral or perfumey. The closest I can think of is a faint smell of “clean.”
All of the cremes go on very easily and smoothly. It doesn’t exactly feel like velvet, but it isn’t sticky or oily on the skin. It also doesn’t increase the shine factor in the T-zone area, which is a big plus for me. I’ve used the cremes both alone and with make-up on top and have had similar results. When wearing make-up, it goes on easily and even after a few hours at work, it isn’t streaking or coming off.
Now for the results. I have not noticed a significant difference in wrinkles, although I’ll admit I wasn’t too wrinkled to begin with. It might be a case where Trilexon works more effectively on deeper wrinkles. But I HAVE noticed a big change in the softness of my skin. For a long time I pondered what the right word to describe the feeling of my skin was, and when I looked at the information Trilexon sent me, I realized they really hit the nail on the head with the word “supple.” But skin is not only very soft, but it seems to have a little bit of extra life and bounce to it when you press it.
I am also very impressed by the Revitalizing Eye Creme. Whenever I put the creme on, I actually feel like it’s refreshing my eye area. I don’t do just under the eyes, I rub it all around the eye, eyelid and up to the brow. The Trilexon Eye Creme contains Haloxyl, which is supposed to help the appearance of under-eye dark circles as well – perfect for someone who doesn’t get enough sleep because she stays up late blogging. ![]()
