After posting the review and giveaway, I received some feedback from my readers who were surprised by the post. While I personally have nothing against the author, the book gives advice that goes contrary to my beliefs as a Christian.
As a Christian woman, I need to put my faith before my blogging hobby. I need to be conscious of the products I review, the example I set, and the message I’m sending to my readers. With this in mind, I cannot promote a book that talks about improving oneself without relying on Christ. Therefore, tomorrow I will be removing the post and canceling the giveaway.
I’m sorry if this is an incovenience for any of you, but I hope you understand that I don’t want to compromise my faith for my blog, and if I find that I do make a mistake, I always do my best to correct it.
