The Review

Carmex is known for being a serious lip balm, meaning the lip balms do what they say they’re going to do. If Carmex is supposed to heal, it’ll heal. If the lip balm is supposed to protect, it’ll protect. And if it is supposed to moisturize, it does that too. The new CarmexLime Twist and Vanilla clicks sticks have taken moisturizing to another level, with three additional moisturizing ingredients to help provide ultra moisturizing protection.

The Carmex Lime Twist has a noticeable lime scent that is fresh and citrusy. The CarmexVanilla has a more subtle scent that makes it a viable option for men as well (and we all know how men can be when it comes to lip balm.) There is a hint of the camphor in the scent, but that’s how you know it’s Carmex. By the way, they’re called “click sticks” because they make a quiet “click click” sound when you raise or lower the lip balm.

I loved that once I put on the Carmex Lime Twist lip balm, I could feel the moisture and protection lasting throughout the day. The moisturizers really worked, making everything feel much smoother (meaning no chapped feeling) and softer. The lip balm never felt thick or oily, and didn’t glop up at all. THIS is what a quality lip balm is supposed to do.
