I find shopping for dresses difficult. While bandage dresses and oodles of decollete may be in style now, they definitely aren’t my style. I prefer to be a bit more covered up, but certainly not frumpy. Mikarose has created a wonderful line of modest and feminine dresses, skirts and tops that will help you feel like a million bucks, while still staying modest, classy, and in budget.
Affordable and Modest Fashion
With Mikarose, I truly feel like I’m getting a quality garment from a company that knows what a woman wants. Their clothing can make you feel beautiful, like twirling around in a new skirt kind of beautiful, while still being fashionably modest.
One of my favorite dresses is the Mikarose Avery Dress. One of the hesitations I had with button-up dresses is that most dresses have buttons the entire length of the skirt. And as anyone who wears buttoned anything knows, sometimes it’s possible for a fabric to twist or turn in such a way that it creates gaps in the garment. Not what I was looking for. The Avery dress still has the casual button-up feel, but the buttons start at the torso, making the entire bottom portion solid and gap-free.

The color is a subtle pink that is fun but not overly bright. I love that by swapping out the belts, you can go from a casual daytime dress to a fun nighttime dress. The pleated top creates a little bit of depth and the detailing on the buttons ads some personality. Not only that, but it’s got pockets, and really, who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? The fabric is extremely comfortable as well, and I love that the dress is machine washable (score!) Best of all, this dress is reasonably priced for just $59.99.

If you are looking for feminine, yet modest clothes to add to your closet, I encourage you to check out the current catalogue from Mikarose. All of their clothing items are unique, fashionable, and affordable, ranging from $14.99 for a layered cap t-shirt to $59.99 for the Avery dress.
