The holidays are usually a time when we can take a look at our lives and appreciate the blessings we have. Many take this opportunity to help those in need – whether it’s through charitable donations or even dropping a few coins in Santa’s kettle as you leave the grocery store. This year, Aflac and Macy’s have teamed up again to offer a gift that is both cute and cuddly, but can also benefit pediatric cancer treatment and research.

Cute, cuddly, and knows all about “Afffflaaacccc!”
Using the contest-winning design of 16-year old leukemia fighter, Monica Sondoval, Aflac has create the 2012 Holiday Duck. A cute and cuddly version of the duck of TV-star fame, this Holiday Duck is soft, plush and super cute with it’s tiny antlers. Give the duck a squeeze and you’ll hear the Aflac Duck’s famous words – “Aflac, Aflac, Aaaffffflacccccc!”
The 2012 Aflac Holiday Duck is a fun stocking stuffer or gift for a child (or even adults!,) not only because of Monica’s creative design, but also because the sale of these ducks help fight cancer. The 6-inch duck retails for $10 and the 10-inch duck is $15, with all net proceeds going towards pediatric cancer treatment and research. Since the first Holiday Duck in 2001, Aflac Holiday Duck sales have raised more than three million dollars for this important cause.
To give this gift that can help fight childhood cancer, you can find the Aflac Holiday Duck in over 600 participating Macy’s stores nationwide or online at www.aflacholidayduck.com.
