The Review

Tide Coldwater Liquid Laundry DetergentI’ve been a Tide fan since forever, so I was eager to try the new Tide Coldwater Liquid Laundry Detergent. Nowadays it seems like laundry piles up in a day, and I often find myself needing to do multiple loads at once. When you have a smaller water heater, or a limited budget to heat load after load of water, then Tide Coldwater may be a great solution for keeping your clothes clean.

I started up the washer, making sure to turn the water temperature to cold. Then, I added the Tide Coldwater detergent, let things swish around a bit, and loaded up the clothes. I loved the Fresh Scent of the detergent. It was strong and clean without being overwhelmingly perfumy. After drying the clothes, they still had a great scent to them. From dark colored clothing and jeans to fuzzy blankets, Tide Coldwater got the clothes clean and made them smell snuggle fresh (especially with the blankets.)

Tide Coldwater Liquid Laundry Detergent

I was really impressed by how clean the clothes were – even using cold water. I love that by using Tide Coldwater, I can still get clean and fresh smelling clothes while being able to reduce my energy bills. Tide Coldwater is available in liquid, HE, and powder detergents in Fresh Scent and Mountain Spring. You can find it in a store near you or purchase it from Amazon for $10.51 (50 ounce bottle.)

One thing that I’ve noticed as I’ve started cooking more is that…I’m kind of a messy cook. I try not to be – I mean, I do my best to throw things away after I’m done and such, but it’s more so that the food I’m cooking can get the stove pretty dirty, pretty quickly….

As of January 1, my county has implemented a $0.05 bag tax for plastic grocery bags. While I’ve been trying to kick the plastic bag habit, having to fork over the change for a bag is the final push needed to help me remember my reusable grocery bags. One of the things I’ve noticed, though,…

I remember when I used to work in the office late and would have to walk to the car in the dark. While the parking lot was well-lit (sometimes…sometimes half of it would be dark), I still tried to be completely aware of my surroundings. Sometimes I wished I had a flashlight and a large…
