  • Admittedly I have a soft spot for soaps. I don’t know if it’s the wonderful scents, or how there are different soaps for your skin, such as exfoliating or moisturizing, but for one reason or another, I enjoy smelling and trying new soaps. One thing I’ve noticed is that handmade bath soaps seem gentler on the skin than some traditional “store” soaps. It’s also the handmade soaps that use natural ingredients, like oatmeal, to help make our skin glow.

Choco Pecan Crunch Exfoliating Bath Bar

All Natural, Handmade Bath Soaps and Beauty Products

Cosmoesque offers handmade bath soaps, body lotions, lip balms, and array of other products made only with the best natural ingredients. They even offer some vegan products as well. The first thing I noticed about Cosmoesque products was the wonderful scents. Some handmade soaps go a little overboard on the oils, making everything smell too scented. You know, too much lavender or too much peppermint. Everything from Cosmoesque smells perfectly balanced. The sandalwood smelled like sandalwood and the caramel crunch smelled like caramel.

I was particularly impressed by their Loofa Scrub Bath Bar. With some exfoliating soaps, you feel a little graininess, but it quickly washes away and you’re left with just a bar of soap. The Cosmoesque Loofa Scrub soap actually scrubs! Once you start using the soap, not only do you notice the massaging ridges in the soap, but it actually has pieces of loofa embedded in the soap, so it just scrubs, scrubs, scrubs. It’s definitely one of my favorite exfoliating soaps. By the way, it also smells amazing. I love the hint of lemongrass that gives it a wonderful freshness.

    • Ari says:

I really like to look for products that are gentle and very non-toxic because of my sensitive skin so I’m happy to read that Cosmoesque is a company that makes handmade soaps that are what I’m looking for. I like how the scents are subtle as well! I’ve been looking for another exfoliating method since I had to throw my loofah away due to it being a feeding ground for mold. The Loofah Scrub Bath Bar is probably exactly what I’m looking for as a replacement because the loofah is embedded into the soap and so there’s no fear of taking in another item and the loofah is not accessible to mold! I will definitely have to check out Cosmoesque; thank you for informing us about this company in your review!

I love a good soap that gets me clean without all the chemicals and additives – that is why I love homemade soaps, too!
