  • Holiday gift towers are one of my favorite gifts to give. I love getting gift towers as well, if I’m being totally honest. Each tower has an assortment of boxes, each filled with an array of goodies – a veritable cornucopia of tasty morsels that will lift your holiday spirits. This is definitely true for the holiday gift towers and holiday tins from Dancing Deer Baking Company.

Cookies, Brownies, and Squares, Oh my!

Dancing Deer Christmas Gourmet Bakery Holiday Gift TowersI had high expectations for the Dancing Deer Holiday Tower. After my first experience with Dancing Deer Baking Company, when I was introduced to their “America’s Best” brownies, I expected holiday treats that not only looked good, but tasted phenomenal. This holiday tower did not disappoint.

The Dancing Deer Holiday Tower consists of two wooden boxes that are printed with a fun holiday theme on their lids. Unwrap the large red bow to reveal the delectable dessert treats that hide inside. The bottom, larger box has four wrapped packages of some of Dancing Deer’s popular baked goods. The Chocolate Chunk Brownies, which I’d tried before, and are amazing, were the first to catch my eye, and were joined by Caramel Sea Salt Squares, Molasses Clove cookies, and Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies.

    Can you say, “YUMMY!”?

This was my first time trying a couple of these items and I was eager to try them. The Caramel Sea Salt Squares are possibly one of my new favorite baked items. It may be because I’m in the middle of a caramel and sea salt kick (as reflected by my affinity for Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.) Regardless of the reason, I found these squares to be the perfect blend of caramel and with a hint of salt, baked into a moist square, was the perfect combination of flavors.

Chocolate lovers and aficionados will definitely appreciate the chocolate chunk brownies and the triple chocolate chip cookies. Both of these items have loads of chocolate flavor and chocolate chunks without being overwhelming. I haven’t tried the Molasses Clove cookies yet. Fortunately these cookies can be frozen and saved for enjoying as a special treat.

Let’s not forget that all of that was just in the first box in the Christmas Gourmet Bakery Tower. There’s also a matter of the second box, which held six, hand-decorated sugar cookies in the shapes of mittens and Christmas trees. After eating one of these cookies, I immediately squirreled the other cookies away so I wouldn’t have to share. Once you taste these cookies yourself, you’ll understand why. While they almost look too good to eat, the classic sugar cookie flavor and the fun decorations make these cookies winners.

Oh yum! These sound amazing. While I love to bake at home myself I would love to send some of these to my family who don’t live locally to save me the hassle of packing everything up and shipping.

Those caramel sea salt squares sound amazing! I think that would be my favorite, too. I’ve tried Dancing Deer in the past and I found their stuff to be so yummy. Thanks for the amazing review!

Oh my goodness, everything you described makes me want to try them all right away! The chocolate brownies will be an instant favorite, I’m sure, but I’m even more intrigued and enthusiastic about trying the Caramel Sea Salt square! I bet it’s a perfect balance of salty and sweet flavor! I’m usually not a fan of most sugar cookies that are frosted, but the ones you’ve described and shown in the photo look unlike any frosted sugar cookie I’ve seen or heard about. So I’m definitely curious to try one of those! I am definitely going to have to keep The Dancing Deer Company in mind the next time I need to give special presents! Thanks for the review!
