Every person needs a quiet place where they can retreat to have some “alone” time. For many women, it’s usually a spa or some quiet time in a room with no kids. For men, there is the “man cave.” While women get to enjoy the perfects of blankets, carpets, and hot chocolate, then man cave is usually less comforting. While I’ve seen some man caves that look like bar lounges, I suspect that for most, men share their caves with their cars in the garage. At the very least, with the NewAir G70 garage heater, they can get the garages a little warmer and a little more comfortable
About the NewAir G70 Garage Heater
I’ve got a garage and it gets cold. There’s a little gym set-up for working out, but when it’s winter and cold outside, the garage starts to feel more like an igloo, making it much less likely that anyone would venture to the garage for a workout. Fortunately, there are garage heaters that can quickly and easily heat up your garage to make it much more appealing.
The NewAir G70 garage heater can install onto your ceiling or wall with the included mounting bracket. We haven’t gotten that far in the installation process, so we just propped it up on a shelf and plugged it in. (Note, this is a heavy duty heater and requires those special outlets 240V plugs.) When the heater is mounted, not only is it safely out of the way, but it can also swivel in different directions so you can point the heater in the direction it’s needed the most.
This 4000 watt heater quickly and easily heated up my one car garage incredibly quickly (gotta love that fan.) It has enough power to heat up areas up to 400 square feet (about the size of a 2-car garage.) The heater has a built-in thermostat that allows you to select the temperature you would like to maintain. This is a great feature for areas where temperatures get very, very cold because it keeps your car “warm.” It sounds silly, I know, but you’ll appreciate it once you’ve spent a winter in the NorthEast waiting for your car to warm-up before driving.
If your handy man loves his tools and his workshop, or maybe he loves his car and loves his garage, then the NewAir G70 garage heater would be a great gift for him.
