• When I was young, I was always told that “eating fish makes you smart.” What I know now is that it isn’t the fish that makes you smart, it’s all of the omegas that are present in fish (and fish oil) that have healthy benefits to both your mind and your body. We should be consuming a regular amount of omega-3 essential fatty acids as part of our normal diet, however many of us are probably lacking in that area. One solution is to take Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Xtra supplements.

Ultimate Omega Xtra is formulated specifically to help maintain a healthy heart and brain, bones, and your body’s natural anti-inflammatory response.

Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega XtraNordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Xtra supplements blends their best selling fish oil concentrate with naturally occurring vitamin D3, which supports healthy bones. I’ve taken fish oil or Omega-3 supplements for a few years and have learned that some are better than others. There are some supplements that are quite large – ones that make you wonder how on earth you’re going to swallow them. Others have a noticeable fishy smell that makes you wonder whether your breath is going to smell like the deep sea.

Fortunately, the Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Xtra supplements address both of these issues. They are smaller in size, about the size of your normal multi-vitamin. They also are lemon flavored which helps neutralize any “fishiness.” I appreciated that I only need to take 2 pills instead of 3 or 4, like other fish oil supplements.

To help spread the word about how omega-3s are an essential part of healthy living, Nordic Naturals have kicked off their “What’s Essential” contest. Visit www.whatsessential.com to learn more and then visit the Nordic Naturals Facebook page for your chance to win a trip to California. Move fast – the contest ends today!

I have always been afraid to take them, because of the “fishy taste”. Glad they are not like that. Thanks for the review.
