  • Beam N Read ® LED 6 Deluxe Hands Free Light I like to read. Whether it’s before falling asleep, riding on the plane, or on a blustery day when you just want to stay inside, it’s so easy to lose yourself in a good book. Unfortunately, sometimes the lighting doesn’t cooperate. In one room there are big, bright lights that are just TOO bright for an evening read. And really, airplane overhead reading lights? Riiight. Fortunately, I have discovered the solution to getting the perfect reading light wherever you are, whenever you want to read – the Beam N Read LED 6 Deluxe Hands Free Light.

    The Perfect Reading Light

Just last week I was wishing that we had a better reading light. With all of our lamps still packed away, the only option I had for reading was one switch that controls 6 bright spotlights. While normally I love the light, when you’re winding down for the day, you want a light that will still light up the book, but not wake you up. Enter the Beam N Read.

The Beam N Read is an innovative light that is more than just a reading light. With a clip-on magnifier, two light filters, and two brightness settings (3 LED or 6 LED), it is the ideal hands free lighting solution. I loved how it shines the light directly onto my book without illuminating the whole room. I played around with the different filters and the LED settings and found the orange filter and the 6 LED setting to provide the most comfortable reading light for me.

The Beam N Read LED Light with Orange Filter

While there are other reading lights out there, none of them have the straight forward and practical design of the Beam N Read. You don’t need to move the light with every page turn, or switch it from one side of your book to the other. It beams the light exactly where it needs to be – in front of you – without you needing to hold it.

You can also use the Beam N Read for things other than reading. This would be a great option for a night light. The kids can put it on and be able to safely navigate to the bathroom. Snap on the red filter onto the Beam N Read to help preserve their night vision. Doing some work on the car or in a dark garage? Use the Beam N Read to help shine the light exactly where you need it. And best of all, it’s all hands free!

There are so many uses for the Beam N Read that make it a must-have light for every household. Have a child that’s learning to read? They can hang the Beam N Read around their necks and practice reading – it’s so much easier than having to use a flashlight! Or maybe you’ve got an early morning or late evening flight, those flights where they dim the cabin lights and tell you to use the overhead reading lights that, if you’re lucky, point somewhere near the vicinity of your book. Just put on your Beam N Read and voila! Light on your book!

With it’s ease of use, hands free functionality, and the ability to adjust the light, the Beam N Read is officially my favorite reading light and has secured a permanent spot on the nightstand. If you, or someone you know, could use the Beam N Read, you can purchase the Beam N Read online from Amazon for just $29.95.

I would like the Beam N Read for reading books in bed. My husband gets annoyed when I have the lamp on. Also it looks like it would be good for sewing & my cross stitching ( which I do at night on the couch) the lamp doesn’t really cut it for that!

    • Carol L says:

This is a fabulous find. I read every day and it would be perfect for me in bed to read. My daughter has a Kindle Fire and she could use this reading her E-books. Thanks for the great opportunity.

My hubby is always complaining about the bedside lamp on while I’m reading and he’s trying to sleep. I tried other reading lights but they are so bright or not enough. I would love to try this one out and be at peace 😉

This would be an amazing item for me I could really use it for a medical problem I have where you need to see and this would be great! I also read a ton of books on my e reader and we camp so we would have multiple uses!

I love that it last for up to 50 hours. the little clip-on lights I tend to buy so that i can read at night dim really quickly and it gets annoying after awhile, but at the same time, reading with the overhead light on isn’t possible.

This would be wonderful to use while doing my needlework and also reading, thanks!

My husband is out like a light 😉 at 9:00 most nights – I often read to 11:00 and beyond – while he says the lamp doesn’t bother him, i feel guilty having it on so late. This would help ease my conscience

    • Val Pearson says:

My mom has trouble reading more and more lately. Everything seems to get darker for her and I was concerned that this book light might not enable her to read ebooks. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it does work with ebooks even though the Kindle might have a reading light with it. I love that it covers a bigger space than the normal book lights. I’d really like to get this for her for Christmas. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

    • Nancy says:

If I won, I’d use this for my card making and scrap booking.

    • CherylS22 says:

I would use this to help me read the directions & patterns on my counted cross-stitch kits.
      Thanks for the giveaway!
