Ore-Ida Steam n’Mash “Tools to Mash Destruction” Sweepstakes

If you didn’t have a potato masher, how would you mash your potatoes? I might put on some socks, stick my feet in Ziploc bags, then stomp stomp stomp. I think my feet would do a pretty good job of smashing those taters into a pulp.

From March 7 through March 29, parents are invited to submit their child’s imaginative design at www.mashdestruction.com for a chance to win $5,000 in cash and the opportunity to have their idea turned into a video for the world to see!

• Parents submit their child’s creative idea in 50 words or less along with a drawing depicting their most creative way to mash potatoes.
• America votes their favorites to the top and then 20 finalist entries are judged by “e-steamed” Ore-Ida potato experts.
• The grand prize winner takes home $5,000 and five runners-up receive $1,000 each. Ore-Ida Steam n’ Mash will also select a handful of designs to bring to life in a weekly webisode series!

The Mash Destruction contest is as easy as making Steam n’ Mash mashed potatoes, real potatoes that you microwave and then mash your way with butter and milk. No scrubbing, peeling or chopping necessary.
