My tip is to use new, sharp razors.
No tip or story:(
I always use quite a bit of shaving cream and make sure you’re covered good and have a good sharp razor.
Always use a good razor! 🙂
use lots of shaving cream
dry your razor after every use..they will last a lot longer & save you money!
Must have sharp razor blades!
good blades
Use a clean sharp razor & always use shaving cream..You get cuts if your faceis not lathered up enough…..
I saw this giveaway after just traveling for the weekend, I forgot my cheap razors so I borrowed a new gillette from my Mom and it was the best razor ever! Thanks for the giveaway.
Always shave i the direction of hair growth
Always use lotion right after shaving.
use a good gel when shaving, soap irritates my skin.
use a good shaving cream
Wash with hot water and soap, then use a brand name cream like Barbasol.
Moisturize right after shaving.
soak in hot water or take hot shower before shaving
I would say to always make sure you wash the area with soap and water first, then use lots of shaving cream and a really good razor. At least double blades.
I shave only after I’ve shampooed, conditioned, and lathered up my skin with body wash – the extra time under the warm water gives my pores plenty of time to soften and open up, thus making shaving easier and more efficient as well as effective.
shaving sucks but Gillette Series Sensitive Skin Shave Gel makes it better
use as little water as you can ladies, to help save your blades
i have a lot of lotion so i use it as shaving cream
I once used olive oil that was no longer any good for cooking. Super smooth legs but it killed the razor.
Use shaving cream & a moisturizer afterwards.
never shave your legs with out water or a shaving cream…years ago i learned the hard way—horrible rash!
i do not have a shaving story but i do love shaving products
very hot water and lots of shaving cream
no more nicks
love P&G products
use sharp razors to avoid cuts
no
baby oil after shaving can help razors.
No tip or story.
I gave up using women’s disposables…. shhhhh I use the men’s shaver….yes, my hubby’s mach 3 one!
I stopped shaving my legs after 50!
Use a good razor I use a Mach 3, I also shave in the shower. Men’s razors are so much better than a women’s in my opinion.
Shave really really well if you plan on going swimming in a pond or river-if you don’t, the dirt/mud in the water will often cling to each individual hair, making you look like Sasquatch. Don’t ask how I know.
I shave using moisturizer instead of shaving cream. =D
Hair conditioner makes a great shaving lotion for your legs.
I have no shaving story except that my mother warned me to never ever shave my legs or I would regret it (and she was right.)
Not really a tip but use good razors and use moisturizer after
Tip – don’t use a cheap razor.
never shave legs with out shaveing cream
Wet the area first with warm water before applying shave cream etc…it tends to soften the hair
Shave at the end of your bath or shower, you’ll get a closer shave.
Nothing here kind of a normal routine around here
I learned the hard way….never dry shave – even when you are in a hurry.
Use hot water to shave it opens the pores making hair removal easier.
I like to shave in the shower – less mess to clean up after.
I did laser hair removal on my armpits — I love it!!!! I no longer have to shave my armpits!
I shave while bathing, nothing special to share though
I make sure to use a generous amount of shaving cream so my skin doesn’t get a negative reaction to the razor
always use cold water when you are done it closes the pores.
Always rinse well, sometimes the combination of shaving and not rinsing well can cause irritation. Use Cool water and never use someone elses razor!
never shave dry legs
never shave dry legs
do it alone and with that, i mean when everyone’s asleep and lock the door so nobody will bother u! 😀
I was told to always use a new blade each time you shave.
Find a razor that works best for you! Thanks for the great giveaway!
My hubby once trimmed his mustache too close and ended up shaving the whole thing off. Does that count? :0)
I use conditioner as shave cream
Make sure you have enough soap or whatever you use on leg. Tonight my 12 yr old who just started shaving had a red bruise up her leg because she didn’t have enough

Olay soap is great for using with razors.
I shave in the shower and use shaving gel or cream
No, I do not have any tip or story.
That’s amazing! I always have either a story or a coupon for that!
use lots of shaving cream
never use a dull blade…i have learned that a couple times!
My tip is to shave at the end of the shower or bath because the warm water seems to soften the hair.
after shaving, heat blades with hair dryer, makes last longer
I would just suggest moisturizing well, especially in the winter.
Always lather up good!
My fiancé could use this gift!! He loves Gillette products!!
My fiance could use this gift!! He loves these products!!

We could use all these in our home.
Shave in the shower.
shave in the shower….carefully lol….and i shave more in the summer than the winter…sssssssssshhhhhhhhhh
I agree with most of what has been said already. Never dry shave. Try to have something between the razor and the skin, like shaving cream or even water.
Never use a dull razor that will cut your legs. Some of these cuts can leave bad scars.
use cold water to rinse for pores
Use cold water when shaving.
Put on moisturizer right after shaving.
Don’t use a dull blade and always moisturize after!
Always use cream
i don’t usually shave
Make sure to let your legs get wet for a little bit to help the razor cut the leg hair better.
i dont have a tip but i would give this as a gift
not all razors are created equal!
use enough cream
I always use some sort of gel to shave
I SHAVED FOR THE 1ST TIME WITHOUT MY MOM KNOWING..I CUT MYSELF AND THPUGHT I WAS GONNA BLEED TO DEATH IT WAS SO BAD
[email protected]
never share a razor
I had use shampoo too later up also if I do not have shaving cream it works ok
my best shaving tip is let the shaving cream set on the skin for a few minutes before shaving to lessen irritation
No, I have nothing…..I shave in the shower and use my body wash lather.
I always shave at the end of my shower – my skin is softer and it doesn’t become as irritated.
Soap or shaving cream is your friend also take it nice and slow or you’ll nick yourself!
I mixed baby oil and lotion and use it as shaving cream—– Paul T/Pauline T aka Paul Tran ….. emscout9 at Hotmail dot com

Soften whiskers with a hot wet towel before shaving
apply lotion before shaving, thanks!
I like to use the razor with the built in moisture strip and 3 blades for a smooth shave.
I have sensitive skin, so I like to use conditioner or baby oil in place of shaving cream. It leaves my skin soft & smooth, also very mild & gentle on my skin.
Use conditioner instead of shaving cream, it is gentle on your skin and moisturizes at the same time.
My only tip is to shave your legs last while in the shower. This ways your legs are more moisturized and your hair is ready to be removed!
My tip is to always use shaving cream. It helps.
Change your disposable razor/blade frequently!
If I’m out of shaving cream, I just use a good conditioner. Still leaves my legs silky smooth.
Don’t use cheap disposable razors
Shave after a bath or shower. The heat from the shower helps soften the hair.
I always use bodywash instead of shaving cream to shave. Make sure you don’t use bodywash that has “scrub” anywhere in the title because those exfoliator rocks can do a number on you.
Soap and water works the best for me.
don’t be in a hurry!!
never use a dull razor!
have plenty of toilet paper handy for the cuts
use shower gel and warm water
Use warm water and conditioner leaves a silky feel.
I use an aloe shaving cream
My 13 year old wants to shave!
Would be great for my son.
I have no stories, but never shave dry.
Just use shave gel and a razor then lotion afterwards.
I read that you should use warm water to shaved because cold shrinks the pores so I would say use warm water 🙂
my tip is when getting ready to lather up wet area with the warmest water you can stand, this works better then cold water
I shave at the end of my shower – being in the moist heat softens everything up for a closer shave.
Exfoliate before and after shaving!
Thanks, Karen

Never Ever Dry Shave!! 🙁
I use a hair conditioner if I run out of shaving creme.
I always use lotion after I shave and shower!

can also use olive oil to help protect
I just use shower gel and a razor. and some lotion after.
Buy the good blades, they last longer. Clean them after use.
No shaving stories from me
I always use razor free hair lotions, razor cuts hurt !
I use lots of lotion mixed with argon oil after so I won’t get the red bumps which I have gotten all my life when shaving my legs. Argon oil is amazing.
I shave in the shower, I use shaving gel, and use lotion imeediately after shower.
change blades when needed so you won’t be using a dull blade to shave
I don’t have any tips besides being careful
Use a sharp razor, and make sure your skin is plenty hydrated.
I always use lotion afterwards.
I don’t have any special tips on shaving, just the standard info, such as sharp razors are safer than dull.
I need the shaving tips!
No great tips other than to make sure to use water when shaving or you get a rash.
always use a warm towel on your face 1st it wil loosenhair up and make it easier to shave
Shaving tip: If you are out of town and forgot to pack your razor, do NOT be tempted to buy a little bag of those disposables! Not worth the pain!
My tip is if you borrow your husbands razor, put it with your stuff==DO NOT put it back and think you will get away with it.
Never use disposables and if your like me only use Gillette. I can’t shave my legs with any other brand or I get tore up lol.
Shaving tip: If your hair is really long trim it before shaving otherwise it will clump in the shaver & you risk cutting yourself.
Taking off the protective cover before shaving. It works a lot better! Lol!
don’t go too fast! lol
great prize
good tip is that shampoo works on body when you run out of shaving cream…
My shaving tip: after shaving with the grain, relather with shaving cream and shave against the grain. You’ll get many extra hours out of your shave!
I didn’t have a razor growing up and used my dads. He was cool with it though. LOL
Always use a lotion after you shave!
When I was a teenager, I was trying to shave under my eyebrows and ended up shaving off half my eyebrow. The funniest thing about it is that my son shaved off his eyebrows years later.
Conditioner can double as a shave gel in a pinch
I have neither:(
ardelong2(at)gmail(dot)com

You can use cheap hair conditioner as a terrific and moisurizing shave cream.
moisturize before shaving
Always use your own razor and use warm water to wetten first
I do not have any tips for shaving, I just use soap or shaving cream on my legs to shave them.
Be sure to use some lotion after you shave.
i am super lazy and shave in the shower which at times can be dangerous, i have the scars to prove it
my tip is make sure your razor is new or sharp
make sure your skin is hydrated before shaving
Not really- just the standard, lather well, use a sharp razor… that type of tip.
Shaving tip: If your hair is really long trim it before shaving otherwise it will clump in the shaver & you risk cutting yourself.
I always put lotion on right after shaving to keep my legs nice and smooth
I could use some shaving short cuts.
I find that sometimes it stings if I use lotion after shaving so I use baby oil
You can use conditioner instead of shaving gel if you run out
I use lotion when I shave instead of shaving cream. Had a doc tell me to do that because of my dry skin.
Thanks for the giveaway…for guys: don’t wash your face with soap before shaving, just use hot water; the extra oils on your skin, in addition to your usual gel or shave cream, will give you a closer, irritation-free shave. Wash your face with soap as usual after shaving.
I stopped shaving when I turned 60.
Thanks for the contest.
Choosing a shaving tool seems like a big decision, especially when you’re shaving for the first time. Thanks for sharing.
