Spring is here. And while I love the warmer weather, the chirping birds, and the fresh smell of mulch (j/k) the freshly planted and blooming flowers, there is one thing about spring that isn’t my favorite. Spring cleaning. Who decided that you have to start cleaning when spring comes? Why isn’t there fall cleaning or summer cleaning? What most people do for spring cleaning is carefully pack away all of their winter items – those heavy sweaters and the extra down comforters that were thrown on top of the bed. This spring, I
About Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags
The Review
Sometimes pictures are better than words at explaining how amazing a product is. So I’d like to begin this review with a before and after shot.
This is a shot of three pillows and a fluffy down comforter that needed to go into storage.
Now here’s a shot of the pillows and comforter packed into the Space Bag before compression. (Two pillows in the top bag and a pillow and comforter in the bottom bag.) Notice that you can just see the top of the electrical outlet on the wall behind the items.
And finally, here’s a shot of the same three pillows and fluffy down comforter that will take up about 1/4 of the space in the closet than the would have without the Space Bag. In this shot, you can see well below the electrical outlet. In all honesty, they could’ve been smaller still, but they recommend that down items not be compressed more than 50%.
The End.
Just kidding.
The Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags seriously amazed me. One of the things that makes these bags different than the other bags is that they have a light lavender scent. It’s strong enough for you to notice it, but not so strong that it gives you a headache. This means that the pillows and comforter will smell fresh and clean as soon as I pull them out of storage.
Putting everything into the bags was easy enough. Carefully place the items into the Space Bag. The Extra-Large bag can hold a queen-size comforter and two standard pillows while the Jumbo bag can hold up to two comforters and four standard pillows. Once everything is inside, slide the zipper at the end over the seal a few times to make sure you have an air-tight seal. Next, attach a vacuum hose to the air valve and turn on the vacuum. In just a few seconds, your big puffy items will be reduced down to a much smaller and compacted pancake (of sorts.) When you’re ready to take the items out of storage, simply pull apart the seal and take your items out.
The biggest thing for me is really that the Space Bag can cut the amount of closet space I need to dedicate to storage. With everything being compressed into smaller packages, there are more places that you can but the Space Bag as well, such as smaller linen closets or under the bed.
The Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags provides and easy way to store a lot of items in a small amount of space – whether it’s bulky winter items or large amounts of clothing. You can purchase Space Bags online or from a retailer near you.

We live in a tiny house that we rent while my daughter finishes her last two years of school at the public school she chose to go to after she left private school. Anyway, we have no room for anything. I would love to be able to pack away our winter/summer clothes in the corresponding season. All our clothes stay wrinkled because we have absolutely no storage.
