I love grape juice. To me, it’s almost like the gourmet juice of juice – especially when you’re drinking a 100% pure grape juice like Welch’s Grape Juice. Made from Concord Grapes which are pressed whole, each 8 oz. glass of grape juice counts as 2 servings of fruit, since the grapes packed with so many naturally occurring nutrients. When there are so many other beverages out there with artificial “this” or “that”, it’s refreshing and delicious to enjoy the 100% grape juice that Welch’s offers.
In the spirit of great natural and delicious flavor and to celebrate the Concord grape harvest, Welch’s has teamed up with Zagat to create the Taste the Harvest food guide – the first-ever guide on finding restaurants that serve local and seasonal food. As an introduction to the guide you will find some fun Welch’s and grape facts, a few grape-inspired recipes, and a list of what seasonal produce is available when. The guide offers a listing of restaurants from across the country that serve local and seasonal food. In addition, there is a listing of regional farmers markets in case you want to pick up some fresh and local produce for yourself.
The guide is broken into 16 different regions centered around major metropolitan areas including Austin, Los Angeles, Orlando, and DC. There are 11 restaurants in my region that I can put on my list of places to try. Remember, this is a Zagat guide as well, so of course all restaurants are rated in food, decor, service and show the cost of the meal.
You can download the “Taste the Harvest: How and where to eat fresh, local and seasonal” guide free! Make sure you watch the Taste the Harvest welcome video to get a look at one of the family-owned farms that grows Welch’s Concord grapes and to gain access to some Welch’s coupons for your next shopping trip.
