You may recall that last winter, I had tried to plant some new bulbs around the house. I was a little disappointed that from all of the bulbs I had planted, only ONE bulb bloomed last spring. A solitary Asiatic Lily plant survived both the late planting, the cold winter, and digging dogs.
Last week, I spent a few hours weeding the flower beds and was so excited to find several bulbs starting to pop. Some of them are a mix of bulbs that were previously planted, but I do believe that some are from the batch of bulbs I had planted. I’m looking forward to seeing what flowers we have blooming in a few weeks.
