We would hope that you would find happiness in any career that you go into, but we all know that not all careers bring happiness. Pretty much every career you could go into has its faults, and it’s all about how you deal with them that shapes how you perceive the job. How you think about the working world has an influence too. If you have absolutely no desire to work other than the fact that you need money to pay the bills, then it’s going to be harder to find any joy in of any line of work. If you’re looking for some change and for some more joy in your job, you might find it in the careers we’ve got below!

Working With Animals
To some, working with animals is a dream career that many abandon because of uncertainty about how to get into it without having to go to university and train as a vet. One solution is to become a veterinary nurse and go to college to do your learning around your job. It’s the perfect solution, which allows you to care for a range of different animals and interact with them on a daily basis, without having to worry about the pressure of trying to become a vet, or the responsibility being a vet would bring. Another way to work with animals is to start dog grooming. Yes, it’s only one type of animal, but if you love dogs, that isn’t a problem.
Working With Sick People
You have to be a certain type of person to work with the sick. You have to have the caring nature, the determination to keep working through hard times, and the connection with people. Nursing is a super rewarding job, and it doesn’t just mean you have to stay at the bottom of your field. You could join a dnp program, and become a doctor of nursing practice, which would open more doors for you than you could ever imagine. You just have to have the determination to work to get the degree and have that side of you that can care for a person no matter what.
Going Abroad
Going off on an adventure to find a new career is another idea that might work for some. You could start by traveling around a little bit, and then getting bar or labour work in whatever country you settle in. It’s easy to earn money and travel, and although we know this is not a lifelong thing, it’ll offer a lot of new experiences and career opportunities!
I’m lucky work found me. I created my own niche and I didn’t even know it. Examine your skills and you might find your perfect job.
Great advice!
