I received complimentary Cedar Bay Grilling Plank Salmon as an incentive to enter a recipe contest, with the possibility of winning a cash prize. As always, all opinions are my own.
Gil’s been eating more salmon recently, but I was struggling to find ways to keep my salmon tasting different and interesting. Cedar Bay Grilling Company makes it easy to jazz up your next salmon dish with their pre-marinated Cedar Planked Atlantic Salmon.
Available in four varieties – Sugar & Spice, Applewood with Orange & Ginger, Pineapple Maui (US Only) and Jalapeńo Mango (US Only) – these Atlantic Salmon full fillets arrive skin-side down on a 14” pre-soaked cedar plank and coated with Cedar Bay Grilling Company’s most popular rubs.
You can cook Cedar Bay Grilling Company’s Planked Salmon in the oven or on the grill. Just unwrap the thawed salmon and place directly onto a hot grill or into a preheated oven. Enjoy this delicious salmon at your next BBQ by letting the frozen salmon thaw in your cooler.
For this recipe, I wanted to push the Asian flavors of this dish. I combined the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and let it reduce. By adding the leftover salmon marinade to the glaze mix, you get an extra bit of heat and sweet citrus flavor. To create a nice, sticky glaze on the salmon, I brushed the glaze on multiple times throughout the cooking process.
After about 20 minutes on the grill, your salmon will be cooked and ready to enjoy. I used my kitchen thermometer to make sure the salmon was cooked through before pulling it off the grill.
I served this Orange and Ginger Asian-Glazed Cedar Planked Grilled Salmon with rice and spinach, but you can serve it with bok choy, noodles, and other Asian-inspired sides as well. The glaze, along with the rub, combine to make a sticky, sweet and slightly spicy coating around the salmon so each bite is packed with flavor.

Recipe Notes
I used Cedar Bay Grilling Company Orange & Ginger Cedar Planked Salmon for this recipe, but this recipe will work with regular salmon as well - it'll just miss the extra zing from the orange and ginger marinade.
That looks incredible.
This looks so good. Thanks so much for this..
