Angry Birds and Star Wars fans can unite in battle with Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Launchers – one of the latest games from Hasbro. Combining two games into one, Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Launchers allows you to build (like Jenga) and knock down the porkers (like Angry Birds), all wrapped up into a fun, Star Wars package.
The concept of the game is relatively simple – one person builds a “fortress” and the other person tries to knock it, and the two pigs, down. This game can also be played solo for a fun twist on the classic app – no phone needed. Two die are included in the game which are rolled to determine what should be built and how many shots are allowed to try to knock everything down. You earn points based on the number of pigs you knock off and the number of bird shots you have left.

Sera ponders taking out the Jabba the Hutt and Rancor pigs.
To launch the Luke Skywalker Angry Bird, you use a very cool Millennium Falcon Launcher. It has a small peg that Luke Skywalker bird rests on while you pull the launcher back and let Luke fly.

Luke Skywalker Bird looks ready to knock off some pigs.
The launcher definitely has some kick to it, so give yourself a bit of space to launch. I was able to get a shot off and knock BOTH pigs from their Jenga block “fortress” before Sera had a chance to take matters into her own paws.

*kersplat* pigs!
One of the things I like about this game is that it can easily be turned into a more involved game. While the game specifies 1-2 players, ages 8 and up, you can break into teams and have more shooters. You can even go “crazy” and build other buildings beyond the ones shown on the die.
Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Launchers is a very fun game that will definitely entertain Angry Birds app lovers. I enjoy both the building and the shooting aspects and I thought the integration of the Star Wars theme was a lot of fun. This is the perfect game to play with family. Even younger kids can play by letting them just be launchers while you build.
There are three different Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Launcher sets available – Tatooine Battle Game (which is the one we played with,) HOTH Battle Game, as well as the Death Star Game. You can find Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Launcher sets at toy stores nationwide, as well as online on Amazon. Angry Birds Star Wars Fighter Pods Jenga Tatooine Battle Game and Jenga Hoth Battle Game are just $15.99 while the Angry Birds Star Wars Fighter Pods Jenga Death Star is on sale for $26.55.

Thanks or the review. It helped me understand the game more in detail. This sounds like a great game to play with my son. He is five and has trouble maneuvering the slingshot on the tablet. But, this game can be very educational with angles, perception, counting dice, and lots of laughter when he wins by bringing the pigs down. 😉
these are so cute! I need to get my grandson some of these!
This would be such an awesome way of teaching physics. 😀
Sounds like a fun game actually. I can see it turning into a fun freeforall!
