Review:
This is the second time that I’ve had Chicken with Lemon & Artichoke Sauce. The first time, I wasn’t a big fan, but this time, it’s grown on me a little bit. I wish I could taste more of the Italian seasoning in the bread crumbs. The sauce is VERY flavorful (with both lemon & artichoke, it has a slightly ‘sour’ taste to me) which overpowers any of the more subtle flavors on the chicken. One solution might be to cut back on the lemon juice and just skip the artichokes all together – then it would become more like chicken with alfredo sauce. After eating the first meal with just broccoli and my left overs with thin spaghetti, I would recommend eating it with pasta or another carb. I think the pasta helps absorb some of the flavor and distributes it around a bit so it isn’t too much.
Tips:
If you have extra sauce left over, save it and use it as a tasty chip dip!

I agree that too much lemon is overpowering, so cut back on the lemon and add more Italian seasoning. Any recipe can be modified to your own taste.
