Many of us have the best of intentions when it comes to recycling. One of the things I’ve noticed is that without a dedicated receptacle specifically for recyclables, empty bottles and boxes end up on the floor or counter and then eventually get stuffed into a “regular” garbage bag. Having a separate bin to put your recyclables makes it easy to keep the items sorted and separate.
About the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler
The Review
When it comes to kitchens, it’s important to me for everything to have its place. I also try to keep the clutter down (although my kitchen doesn’t always reflect that if I’m being totally honest.) One of the things I like about the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler is how it tucks conveniently inside one of your cabinets so it is out of sight.
To install the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler, you simply assemble the Recycler (in about 3 steps following the pictorial directions), then hook it over the edge of one of your cabinets. The foam on the hooks ensures that it is on securely so things don’t accidentally get loose or fall off. Alternately, you can use screws to create a more permanent installation.
Having the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler creates that place for the empty cartons and bottles that I like to recycle. It has a 5 gallon bag that is lined with a leak-proof liner and is machine washable (which is a must.) It easily fits a gallon milk jug or huge orange juice container. Once your bag is full, simply remove the bag using the attached handle and carry the bag to your recycle bin. The lid stays with the hooks and neatly folds down against the cabinet door when you remove the bag.
The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler makes recycling much easier and more convenient. I actually recycle more now that everything goes into the bag and nothing gets left on the counter. If you would like to pick up the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler to help keep your recyclables sorted and hidden out of sight, you can purchase it online from Amazon.

I recycle a lot but all I have is plastic bags for the items. I would love a way to keep my cat from getting into the bags.
We have totes in the garage we use right now and then we have to drive ours to recycle
Yes we definitely recycle everything we can. We usually put a couple of paper bags out in the entryway to put all of our recyclables in. Thanks so much for hosting this great giveaway!

All our recycling gets collected into a spare room until we have enough to fill the car for the 20 minute ride to the recycling depot
We just put them in a drawer in the kitchen. We do recycle other stuff.
i put them all in the big rubbermaid storage box
Yes, we recycle. I use a basket and then transfer them to boxes in the garage until we have time to take them to the recycling center. Thanks for the giveaway!
we recycle, sadly we pile it on the counter until someone gets tired of looking at it and then it gets put in the bins outside
right now i use a cardboard box for my recyclables, not the best system lol
We recycle everything! We have 3 big cans on our back porch to keep them sorted. It would be nice to have one in the house. Thanks

I do not have a bag. They pile up.
I have a recycle bag, a garbage bag! I hang it on the back door and it has to go out every other day or so because I recycle everything I can!

I do recycle I use paper grocery bags to sort them
We gather things to recycle in the kitchen and take them out to recycling bins in our garage.
I do but right now its mainly plastic bags.
I leave them in shopping bags in the closet. It piles up quickly and I don’t like to have too much at one time to take downstairs.
We put them into grocery bags. Once those are full, we take them outside to our recycle bin.
yes i recyle. i get brown paper bags when i grocery shop so i can use them to recycle
it’s truly sad i re-use as much as possible and when i lived in tuscaloosa i drove all my aluminum glass newspaper and plastic to a recycling center but where i live now the closest place that takes aluminum is 30 miles and to recycle anything else is a 70 mile drive i live in the woods baby BUT i’m moving in august woohoo yea!
I have a pile by the door, cans in the coat closet, and a basket under the sink that is awkward to get to.
We do recycle. I tend to use plastic bags to collect the stuff in the house, though it’s not very neat, but we have recycle bins for our township use.
Our family DOES recycle and have for a very long time. We recycle anything from soda cans/tin-foil, newspaper, regular paper, shredded paper, and even clothing. By clothing I mean we donate to the Goodwill. My husband even owns a recycling company that recycles concrete and asphalt. We do our part.

We recycle. We live on campus and they have big recycling bins outside so we just carry them out and put them in there!:)
We do not recycle yet. Maybe one of these would give me that push I need.
I love to recycle! Right now I just use a garbage bag that is always in the way! I would LOVE this product!!
We try to, but our city actually sort our garbage for us instead of having separate bins. But we’re moving soon that that’s about to change and this would be a big help!
We do have a specific place for our recycling, but not in the house and this is FABULOUS!
I recycle bigger containers, I dont have a storage system for smaller things so i tend to toss them, this would help a lot
I recycled & have a big blue rolling bac outdoor but woud love to win one indoor so we don’t have to make multiple trips outside.
I love to recycle!! It makes it so much raiser for less trash. This would be really nice all we have is the big red box that we set by the curb inside our house its ugly and very unattractive.
I do recycle: in our small city, we have bins and put them by the curb once every two weeks. Couldn’t be easier!
we recycle cans- we crush them and then they go in the black bag outside- nothing fancy
