There used to be a time when I would go to the malls, perusing the different stores, looking for just the right thing. If I saw something I liked, I might just make a mental note because, well, I might find something better in the next store. If I didn’t L.O.V.E. it at the time, I didn’t buy it. By the end of the shopping trip I either had to revisit stores from the start of the trip or I’d go home and think about the one item I wish I’d gotten. One time I even drove back the next day and bought something anyways (hey, it was an awesome purse…on sale too!)
Now, I’ve learned from the lessons from my shopping youth. While I’ll still window shop on occasion, I do all my “real” shopping online. Not only do I find cheaper prices online, but it saves me a lot of walking back and forth.
I love shopping at online stores like Sears.com, where there are products from across the web, all in one place. When you shop at Sears.com, not only do you see the products that they carry, but they also show products that their partners offer as well. That way I can see millions of products available from different stores and choose my favorite one, without having to have 20 different web tabs open or dealing with mall crowds.
Another perk to shopping at Sears is that purchases earn you rewards as part of the ShopYourWay rewards program. You can earn points when you shop at partner stores, and then use those points on future purchases. I’ve already redeemed about $60 of rewards.
How do you like to shop? Are you a mall-walker or an online bargain-hunter?
