Two weeks ago, we gathered together to celebrate a drink that not only can help us wake up in the mornings, but can also give you a little boost in the afternoons – coffee. In honor of National Coffee Day, on September 29th, we gathered friends and family for an International Delight Iced Coffee party. While I’ve been drinking International Delight Iced Coffee for months, this was the first time enjoying this tasty and refreshing beverage for others.
Before the party began, I decided to make some Milk Chocolate Cafe Truffles using International Delight Iced Coffee in the Mocha flavor. Chocolate + coffee = win. You can’t really go wrong with the combination and the recipe was so easy. Admittedly, I sampled one or three before the party and they were amazing. I loved the smooth and subtle flavor of the mocha combined with the sweetness of the chocolate. Nom nom nom.
Next, I got everything set-up and created a sort-of mini-coffee bar. We had two different kinds of International Delight Iced Coffee – Mocha and Original, two different flavors of International Delight creamer, two flavors of Torani syrups, plus some tasty biscotti and the aforementioned truffles.
Once everything was set-up, everyone was able to make their own drinks. As a regular International Iced Coffee drinker, I was tempted to make my Grasshopper Iced Mocha again but decided to try something different by mixing the International Deligh Iced Coffee Mocha with their Chocolate and Caramel Creamer. Others mixed and matched their own drinks as well – some adding other mixins while others drank it straight out of the carton. (Well not straight out, they poured it into a glass first.)
For the first-time drinkers, they were impressed by the flavors and the different ways you could make coffee-shop-tasting drinks at home. This was something I’d discovered months ago and I love sipping on this refreshing treat by itself or discovering new ways to enjoy the iced coffee flavor. Not only was everyone able to enjoy their iced coffees, but we were able to give everyone refills as well, all for cheaper than what you’d pay for one drink if you were hanging out in a coffee shop.
While most people enjoy iced coffee in the summer, 62% of iced coffee drinkers, myself included, still enjoy iced coffee during the winter. With International Delight Iced Coffee, it’s so easy to get the great Iced Coffee flavor without having to go to the coffee house. Just grab a tumbler, fill it with ice, and pour to enjoy iced coffee on-the-go. Since we’ve moved, the local Starbuck’s isn’t quite so convenient, so being able to enjoy some delicious coffee at home allows me to get my morning or afternoon caffeine.
International Delight Iced Coffee is convenient, delicious, and affordable! You can find it nationwide in your grocery store’s dairy aisle.
How do you enjoy your coffee?
