Granola is a favorite snack at our house. We’ll eat it straight from the bag, on yogurt or ice cream, with nut butters and apples or other fruit, and it’s an easy-to-eat snack at home or on the go. Nature’s Path new No Sugar Added line of granola is a fun way to eat it and feel good about what’s in it—and what’s not.
Nature’s Path No Sugar Added granola is Certified Organic, Made in the USA, Non-GMO, made with Whole Grains, Vegan, Pareve, low sodium, and did I mention it has No Added Sugar! What’s not to love? The ingredient list is clear about what’s in it, and that is one thing busy moms and other shoppers look for when buying snacks for their families. No Added Sugar means it, too, with no added sugar or chemical sugar additives—there is a minute amount, 4g, of natural sweeteners from date powder, with no aftertaste. There are two flavors available Mixed Berry Granola and Almond Butter Vanilla.
The flavor of the granola tastes yummy, which is important when serving it to my family. Ease of use with a zip top package means the kids can help themselves to an afternoon snack, it travels well, and it helps it stay fresher. It’s a healthier alternative for when you’re looking in the pantry for something to eat or pack in a lunch.
Granola is so versatile–it makes a great topping for a little added crunch in a salad or even a no-bake fruit cobbler. Nature’s Path gave me a recipe to try, No-Bake Almond Vanilla Peach Cobbler, to make with the Almond Vanilla Butter Vanilla granola. The recipe they gave is Vegan, but I made a few substitutions based on ingredients I had in the pantry and the fridge—I used organic honey and homemade dairy whipped cream–and the end product looks the same and tastes delicious! While a simple recipe, it’s packed with flavor. It’s quick and easy to put together, can be eaten immediately or refrigerated until you’re ready, and makes a healthier dessert option on busy nights.
It’s a busy time of year with back-to-school, sports, meetings, and other activities, and Nature’s Path No Sugar Added Granola is the answer to making life easier. It’s also great for college students or keeping at the office (home or in-person) because of the easy seal zip top. As a snack, it’s a little more filling with 6g of fiber, 14g of whole grains, and 0g added sugar satisfies when you need something to tide you over till the next meal.
