There are some days where it seems like go-go-go from the start. Those days usually start with missed alarms or alarm clocks that mysteriously “turned off by themselves and are then promptly followed with a flurry of activity to get people fed and out the door in time to take care of business.

I try my best to get a well rounded breakfast out, but sometimes time can be a little to short. Even if we’re in a hurry, it’s still important to eat something to start our days off right, and especially when we’re in a hurry, healthy, on-the-go breakfast items can be a huge help.

Yes, I usually opt for an on-the-go snack for breakfast most of the time! It’s usually some kind of granola bar, fruit, yogurt or other kind of quick thing I can grab and go. I would love to have those days when I can prepare everything and really have a nice meal at home, but those days usually aren’t frequent.
We don’t eat breakfast on the go, but we do want it as simple as possible – no pans, please unless it is the weekend! So bars are a great option, well as what we call “smooshies” – really smoothies.
