When I first told Gil that we’d be testing out a new Intel All-in-One PC, he was hesitant. As a blogger, Β and graphic and web designer, I need a computer that can handle high quality images and graphics, as well as tasks that may require a lot of processing. I had just replaced my PC tower, which died last year, with a new laptop and it came down to this – could the new Intel All-in-One PC perform the processing-intensive tasks that come with my daily work?

My computer set-up before. The laptop seems small.
Once we saw the size of the HP ENVY Rove 29 All-in-one PC, I knew this wasn’t an ordinary computer. This all-in-one PC has a generous 20-inch widescreen HD TV, a full 3 inches diagonal larger than the laptop. With HD quality and vibrancy, it’s perfect helping me capture the colors in my photographs and designs.
Set-up was unbelievably easy. Pull out of box. Plug in. Power up. (The official instructions are a bit more detailed, but you get the idea. π

The HP ENVY Rove 20 is on the left and looking good with it’s larger HD monitor.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been using my new All-in-One PC as I would my laptop. I’ve used it to edit photos, create new designs, and blog. Worries about whether it could handle the workload disappeared. It runs all of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs I use (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Unplug and you have a portable PC!
Another thing that sets this monitor apart is that’s it’s touchscreen. You can swipe, type, and drag your finger across the monitor.

Touchscreen is too cool.
Find out more about the Intel AIO PC and stay tuned to the blog in the coming weeks at we look at some of the other cool features and benefits to the HP ENVY Rove20 All-in-One PC.

An inspiring review!
I just got a new AIO Dell and oh my gosh. It’s amazing. It’s so fun to play with!! And work, but I keep playing around because it’s so fun. I have heard the HP Envy Rove is amazing
It’s very cool – I like that fact that you can take it with you where ever and when ever–great review-thanks for sharing π
Looks like it would be great for me to work on while I am commuting on the train to work!
What a beauty!!! I am loving the look and all that it can do! I am needing an upgrade for sure!
I have the same one and love, love love it. Of course, I was replacing a much older computer that could barely handle my daily tasks. It’s really interesting to see how it performs over a laptop that you specifically bought for its processing power.
This is awesome Miriam! I’ve never had an AIO before and I’m curious to see how it would fit my lifestyle.
Great review, this helped me in my decision making, thank you
Very nifty! Me likes! Great review!
I love the idea that this can be used almost as a tablet as well as a PC!
Thank you for the great review
nice review π
It looks pretty cool, but I am a typist by nature and I don’t know about typing on a screen.
Very informative ..
Love the big monitor, only having one wire, and portability.
You are so lucky to be able to keep and try these things. It looks like a wonderful computer with lots of nice options!
Awesome, im in it to win it!!!!!
