When we moved to our new home, I knew there would be a little bit of updating. While I absolutely love the house, the taste and style of the previous owner just didn’t mesh with our own personal style. Fortunately, I like to think we’re “handy” so we’re tackling some of the smaller things that make a huge impact.
One place that definitely needed some updating was the guest kitchen. It was a nice simple, white kitchen, but it was also a little bland. One easy solution was to upgrade the kitchen faucet to a newer, much much cooler faucet from Danze Inc.
Here’s what we were working with. A simple white sink with a simple white-ish faucet. You can kind of see how the handle of the faucet has started to turn slightly brown from age.
While this is for the guest kitchen, I knew that I wanted the new faucet to “look cool.” It had to have a single handle (because I really don’t understand two handle kitchen faucets) and it needed to have a spray feature – either on the faucet itself or a separate sprayer. After some browsing, I found the Taju faucet from Danze Inc..
When it came to installation time, I was giddy. I heard the guys tinkering around in the kitchen and popped in to see the progress. They had removed the old faucet and installed the base of the new Dance faucet. You can see the hose that is used for the faucet head.
Instead of using a base plate to cover the extra holes, they went out to Lowe’s and grabbed a couple of hole covers. Then they completed the installation. Look at how beautiful the new Danze Taju faucet is.
This faucet definitely makes the kitchen look more modern. I love the stainless steel and how sleek the faucet looks. The sprayer is just awesome. Not only are there switches that allow you two switch from stream to spray, but there’s another button that lets you “pause” the spray.
Updating or upgrading your kitchen faucet is an easy way to help change the look of your kitchen. If you like the Danze Taju faucet we just installed, you can purchase the Danze Taju faucet on sale from Amazon for $312.07 (down from $608.)

That is so cool! I might actually like washing the pots and pans if I had that faucet! I will be looking at those next time I need a faucet!
We just welcomed a new baby boy, and this would be perfect for bathing him. I really like these allow you to pause the spray.
On I love this! Now I just have to convince hubby 😉
