This will help it perform optimally upon each subsequent lighting. Always burn on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, and do not burn for more than 3-4 hours for both safety and to preserve the fragrance. Center and straighten wick(s) after extinguishing the flame. Keep wick(s) trimmed to 1/4″ for an ideal, clean burn, and keep wick trimmings and other debris out of the wax. Discontinue burning when 1/2″ of wax remains or vessel may shatter. WARNING: Always burn candles within sight and place them away from curtains or other flammable materials.
