There are times when you want a quick bite, but you don’t want just another fast food hamburger. Perhaps you’re looking for a nice BBQ flavor with a bit of a kick. Or maybe you want something a little heartier than ground beef patties. For those times when you want something hot, savory, and delicious – quickly – Arby’s has a new Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich that may fit the bill.
For a limited time only, you can try Arby’s new Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich at an Arby’s near you. This isn’t your ordinary brisket sandwich. Arby’s brisket is smoked for at least 13 hours, helping to give the meat the smoky tenderness that a good BBQ should have. For their sandwich, Arby’s piles on the slow-smoked beef brisket, and tops it with smoked Gouda Cheese, Smoky Q Sauce, mayo and crispy onions. Put all of those ingredients between a toasted, bakery-style star cut bun and you have the Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich.
I haven’t had the opportunity to try the Arby’s Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich yet, but will definitely be giving it a shot the next time I head to Arby’s. Arby’s has already mastered roast beef so I’d expect their brisket to be the same quality. For me, the crispy onions put it over the top. I’m a big fan of onion rings, an even bigger fan of onion straws, and putting those crispy onions on the sandwich is just too much, but in a good way.
