This post brought to you by Avocados from Mexico. All opinions are 100% mine.
Avocados are one of those fruits that have transcended the “boundaries” of fruit. While I know avocados mostly because of their use in guacamole, their culinary uses expand way beyond that.
Avocados are used in Mexican, Asian, and even African cuisine. You’ll find them in salads, sushi, and sandwiches all around the world. With it’s subtle flavors it can be used in a diverse number of dishes – both sweet desserts like a chilled juice with sugar and milk or even an avocado pie, or as something more savory like a creamy guacamole dip or soup. Visit the Avocados from Mexico website to find a collection of recipes that are perfect for avocado fans!
Avocados are also incredibly nutritious, filled with B vitamins and rich in fiber. While most avocado calories come from fat, most of it is monounsaturated fat – the “good fat” which can help lower cholesterol. Avocados also have more potassium than a banana! Amazing.

You can also download a “I Heart Avocados” badge like this one:
I downloaded the instrumental version of the theme song because it has a nice, peppy beat that is really catchy and fun to listen to and would make a great ringtone.
