Another round of tips for this month’s Dream Dinners menu from cheftouchedtips.com:
Stir Fry Cashew Chicken with Chow Mein Noodles
I like to toast the cashews before adding them. Cashews brown very easily so you can’t take your eyes off them for a min or they will be too toasted. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Place cashews on a baking sheet and bake for a few minutes, watching carefully and shaking occasionally. They are done when golden and fragrant – 4 -5 minutes.Swiss Bacon Burger with Tangy BBQ Sauce
Orida has a frozen steak fry that I use. I microwave them for 2 – 3 min on high and then to the panini grill on high, I sprinkled them with Johnny’s Seasoning Salt and pressed the grill top down for 3 -5 min until they were crisp. Ok, for the left over burgers….I made them on Sunday for lunch, again with my panini grill. Pressing them on Med-high for 5 – 6 min they were delicious and totally different than what we had for dinner because they were pressed to only 1 inch high like a panini!
As my own “WCatDD Touched Tip” for an item from the May menu:
Chicken with Lemon & Artichoke Sauce
If you have extra sauce left over, you can use it as a tasty chip or vegetable dip.
